Prof. Viktor I. Pogorelov

Viktor Pogorelov is teaching Computer-Aided Design and Numerical Analysis systems in Aerospace Engineering at Baltic State Technical University in Saint Petersburg. He is an expert in the field of 3D modeling and analysis of thin-walled structures made of beams, plates and shells. At this point in time his main research interests are in the application of the finite element method for the analysis of statics, dynamics, stability and fracture of aerospace structures.
