Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang A. Wall

Wolfgang A. Wall is founding director of the Institute for Computational Mechanics at the Technische Universität München. He also is co-founder of the company AdCo EngineeringGW. His research interests can be described as “application motivated fundamental research” in a broad range of areas in computational mechanics, including both computational solid and fluid mechanics. His current focus is on multifield and multiscale problems in all fields of engineering and the applied sciences as well as on computational biomedical engineering.
